Elkhorn Dog Services has been helping over 1000 dogs and their owners to develop a fulfilling and happier relationship. We’ll always respond to your questions about dog training and dog care with informed answers, practical suggestions, and encouraging words. Even after your lessons have ended, I’m always just a phone call or text away!

My approach is flexible, because my years of experience are proof that every dog responds differently to training. It’s not the tools that train the dog, but the human - so my job is to teach you how to communicate and understand your dog’s needs.

If your dog has explosive leash reactivity (severe barking and lunging at other dogs, humans, cars, bicycles, etc.), resource guarding, OCD behavior, or separation anxiety, know you are not alone. Ten private, customized sessions will help you to understand your dog while giving your dog the resources to grow in their own understanding of appropriate behavior. Learn More
Dogs who display severe or debilitating fear, intense anxiety, or OCD behaviors are best served in the rehabilitation program. Training will not “fix” the dog, but help him/her learn to make better choices. These skills, along with obedience training will help give the dog structure in what might often be a chaotic mind.
